Good evening people,
After a long yet fun trip to Michigan, I am finally glad to be back home. I am glad to have been at work today. I am glad to have worked on a little bit of a chapter. And....you get the idea. Tomorrow, I probably won't be as tired. I do think, however, that the time in Marquette, Michigan and the 10 p.m. drive through Chicago were definitely worth it. If you do decide to go on vacation some time in the near future, you should definitely visit Marquette. Well, as I said before, I am finishing up on The Magic Video Game 3: Mystery of the Island and am about to start on The Jazzy Island of Dinosaurs 3: The Fiesta (name is subject to change), hopefully to finish both by the time school starts again on August 31st (I have one more semester left of college. Oh boy). And tonight, I am going to talk to you about how I come up with ideas for chapters and whatnot. Q: Two chapters down for which novel? A: I am almost done with The Magic Video Game 3: Mystery of the Island, but I'm not quite finished yet. Well, actually, I have three chapters left in that book, but my main goal tonight is to get one chapter finished. Then, I think I will put The Magic Video Game aside for a month and work on The Jazzy Island of Dinosaurs if I am still serious about getting the next three novels published by the end of August. Rockybado has still been on my mind, and I don't want to just diss that series. Q: Do I still have hope for publishing these next three novels by the end of August? A: Yes and no. If I can't get the three novels published by August, I'm putting myself on a deadline for December, which I think is a little late because I haven't really published anything for a year if I wait that long. My first hope is to get them published by the end of August, but I'm not going to be too strict on myself because my summer is really busy. Q: Do I think the quickies and longest chapters are getting a little old? A: Absolutely not. They have probably lost their "comical" meaning because the sarcasm about the longest chapter ever is in every book. But I like the idea of the quickies and longest chapters ever because I can technically take a break from writing a conventional chapter for once. I like the idea of quickies because of some cartoons that I watched as a kid. Q: Which chapter do I think is the best one? A: Probably the one that I attached to my last blog post (Chapter 14 of The Magic Video Game 3: Mystery of the Island) because I legitimately made myself laugh at what I had written. No, seriously though. I think there are a lot of good chapters. Some chapters are better than others, not gonna lie. The ideas for some chapters are thought up on the fly. There are other chapters that I had put much more thought into. And there are yet other chapters where I couldn't think of much, so I had to stretch my brains like silly putty to come up with some relatively good ideas. So, in essence, there are amazing chapters. There are great chapters. There are good chapters. There are cheesy chapters. And there are some chapters that I would just love to throw out the freakin' window. Q: What is the criteria for a good chapter? A: Nope. Sorry. (:*-O) I really don't think there is criteria for a good chapter, so to speak. I think that, as long as you have some creativity whatsoever, many people will be thrilled with the fact that you're actually a published author and they will fall head over heels in love with your writing, regardless of how good or bad you think you might be. And there will be others who don't like the idea of reading in general (Me!) or they don't like that genre. Nothing wrong with either scenario. If you don't feel like you're a good writer, sit in a bright room with some rock music playing and eat as much bacon as you like. Then, you'll feel better about yourself. I guarantee it. For those of you who do not like bacon, rock music, or both, just pick something different! I will try to get a blog post in next weekend, but it depends on if my family and I are going out of town again. I am, however, 86.91% sure that I will be able to post a blog next weekend, so be on the lookout for an updated blog by me! Later, Me

Hello, and Happy Wednesday! I had a great thing happen to me last night. I was working on one chapter of The Magic Video Game 3: Mystery of the Island. This one chapter was one that I didn't expect great things to come out of. However, I suddenly had a great idea that I hadn't thought of earlier. Because my idea was so great and so funny (according to me), I could not get to sleep last night because the idea kept on playing in my head, and I couldn't stop laughing. I also had a giggling spell earlier today because the idea came back to me, and I couldn't stop laughing. I attached the chapter that I worked on last night at the end of this post, so make sure you read the whole post and then the chapter! I think you'll like it. Nevertheless, I'm so glad that I'm working on The Magic Video Game series at the moment because I can pay more attention to Levi Cranston, his family, and friends. And today, I am going to talk to you about Evelyn Maeve Cranston, Levi's younger sister who was adopted from Dublin, Ireland, when she was a baby. * Full name: Evelyn Maeve Cranston * Date of birth: May 8, 2000 * Residence (As of 2014): Valparaiso, Indiana * Relationship status (As of 2014): Single * Year of high school graduation (If applicable): 2019 * College degree received (If applicable): N/A * Likes: Everything, especially cheese * Dislikes: What is there not to like? * Favorite music genre: Rock, pop, indie, anything Levi likes * Most favorite event(s) in life: Levi had his tonsils taken out almost exactly two weeks before his birthday, and his throat was still a little sore when October 30th (his birthday) came around. With that in mind, the family treated Levi to saganaki, or flaming cheese, so that it would be easier for him to enjoy his birthday. Evelyn Maeve fell in love with saganaki on that day, and she wanted the family to treat her to saganaki for her birthday. She has asked for saganaki for five birthdays in a row. * Strangest event in life: If Levi gets sick, Evelyn Maeve almost always gets sick right after he starts to feel better. Speaking of this series, The Magic Video Game and its "a day in the life" sequel, The Tennis Summer, will be FREE on AMAZON for KINDLE from Friday June 26 to Sunday June 28, so please check them out by reading the summaries below! The Magic Video Game: "Summer of 2006 begins in Valparaiso, Indiana, and two siblings acquire a video game that lets them go to the island of Wakahakai to meet a cool polar bear and his friends, including a forensics science fanatic, an athletic walrus, a crazy penguin, a distinguished snowman, a simplistic Eskimo pig, and a beautiful princess. Together, they must keep Darveda, Nelson, and Hilda from taking part of Winderplassic Estate." The Tennis Summer: "It is summer of 2006 in Valparaiso, Indiana, and Levi and his friends have to prepare for the upcoming tennis season as freshmen in high school. With two new boys who join Levi's group of friends, a date gone wrong with his girlfriend, a renovation of his family's garage, and the beginning of many tennis practices, this summer proves to be very eventful." Also, I will not be posting on this blog this weekend because I will be in Michigan for the time being, and I will have limited access to a computer. However, you should still check out The Magic Video Game and its sequel, The Tennis Summer, this weekend. You'll be sad if you don't! Time to log off. No....seriously. I've got a lot of writing to do! Au revoir, Me
Happy Sunday Funday errbody,
Today is the day that we all should honor our best male figure in our lives: our dad. I will speak a little about my own dad. He was the one who gave me inspirations to draw and use my creative juices to do whatever I wanted to do. He encouraged me to become a writer since he knew that I had the potential to be very creative. Needless to say, he was the main reason why I am writing Rockybado, The Jazzy Island of Dinosaurs, and The Magic Video Game series. Well, I am going to talk to you about Victoria Cranston, Levi's oldest full-blood sister, while I am about to be on the subject of The Magic Video Game series. * Full name: Victoria Kelley Ann Cranston * Date of birth: June 17, 1988 * Residence (As of 2014): Valparaiso, Indiana * Relationship status (As of 2014): Single * Year of high school graduation (If applicable): 2007 * College degree received (If applicable): Bachelor's in Marketing and Management * Likes: Bowling, making unique fashion statements with friends, hanging out with friends and family, rock music, baseball (as a spectator), Mexican food, strolling through downtown Valparaiso * Dislikes: Outfits without hats * Favorite music genre: Rock, pop, indie * Most favorite event(s) in life: Going out with friends to the mall and other clothing stores and trying on outfits, going to some rock concerts with Dad and Levi, playing arcade games with Levi * Strangest event in life: College graduation, when a student who sat next to her suddenly threw up during the ceremony Speaking of which, The Magic Video Game and its "a day in the life" sequel, The Tennis Summer, will be FREE on AMAZON for KINDLE from Friday June 26 to Sunday June 28, so please check them out by reading the summaries below! Have a great Sunday Funday! B. Levi It was a blistery Tuesday, and I had come home from work. Then, I went out again and walked around a neighborhood. Then, my family and I went to get noodles, and....
Oh hi people. As a lot of you know, I have been extremely busy and I have not always had access to a computer where I could regularly post blogs. Now, I am still extremely busy but I have more access to a computer where I can regularly post blogs. Now, what am I going to do? You might ask. Well, I will tell you. You might ask. I am just going to answer all but five questions that you might have about what I'm working on now. So....without further ado....here we go. Q: What am I working on at the moment? A: At the moment, I am working on The Magic Video Game 3: Mystery of the Island, and I will give you no more spoilers other than the fact that two newish characters are introduced, and there is a mystery that takes place on the island. Q: Why did I work on Rockybado before other series? A: I felt like writing Rockybado 3 and Rockybado 4 because I had so many ideas coming out of my head, and then I decided that I should also concentrate on The Jazzy Island of Dinosaurs and The Magic Video Game. I have been working on The Magic Video Game, but I have decided that I am also going to work on The Jazzy Island of Dinosaurs. Therefore, I will work on both series simultaneously. Q: When am I going to get these books published? A: I was hoping for July 8 because that marks the two year anniversary of my first novels being published. However, that will not happen, but I'm okay with it. I was then hoping for August, but I don't know if I will even make that deadline. My ultimate goal is to get the third novel from each series published by December 2015. Q: Are there any more inspirations that I've considered? A: Too many to count. However, two inspirations include someone climbing on top of the roof and walking through downtown Valparaiso in the rain. Oh, and capuccino. Gotta love capuccino. Q: Is this the last question? A: Yes. That is it with the questions. Now, I am signing off so that I can get ready to go to a drive in and watch a movie. Stay tuned for the weekend, as I am most likely going to give you all another character profile. Bye! B. Levi Hello, and Happy Saturday!
Well, this week has been extremely busy with my work schedule and physically recovering from the amazing experience that I had with a college program the week before! I did not put my writing down, however. I make sure that I always have time to think of some ideas to put in future novels. That happened yesterday, as I was walking through downtown Valparaiso, on my break from my second job. It was raining, and I was walking with my umbrella over me. My morning had been pretty bad, but I decided that going on a walk in the rain might make me feel a little better. It did. And it also gave me some ideas for The Magic Video Game, since Levi and his family live in downtown Valparaiso. Speaking of which, I am going to give you the profile of Levi’s sister, Olivia Cranston. She is the second oldest of his full-blood siblings but the fourth child overall. * Full name: Olivia Chloe Monice Cranston * Date of birth: May 19, 1990 * Residence (As of 2014): Valparaiso, Indiana * Relationship status (As of 2014): Single * Year of high school graduation (If applicable): 2009 * College degree received (If applicable): Bachelor's in Marketing * Likes: Family, friends, ice cream, baking, tennis (to watch), bowling, some video games, dance parties, sangria, pina coladas, college, pizza, Rhode Island, a lot of other things * Dislikes: Flan, romance novels and movies * Favorite music genre: Rock, pop, some country, R & B * Most favorite event(s) in life: Celebrating the Fourth of July with the family * Strangest event in life: Victoria, Olivia and Levi’s oldest full-blood sister, wanted Olivia to do a makeover on her. Olivia, not knowing much about how to style hair, was able to do a really good job with dying Victoria’s hair from brown to dark brown, as well as helping her with her makeup. Ladies and gentlemen, Olivia Chloe Monice Cranston. On a somewhat unrelated note, The Jazzy Island of Dinosaurs and its sequel, The Sound of a B Flat, will be FREE on Amazon for Kindle TODAY AND TOMORROW, so please check them out and read the summaries below! The Jazzy Island of Dinosaurs: "It is June 2006 in St. John, a town in Northwest Indiana, and five siblings find out about the existence of dinosaurs through their neighbors who actually visited them. At a swimming party, the neighbors give the three younger siblings a book with a T-Rex's number on it. When all five kids visit Galavanti Island, they help Dacston, a T-Rex, Valpatic, a velociraptor, Jokie, a brachiosaurus, and Sammy, a stegosaurus, locate a case of saxophones that Selfish Arnie, Dacston's cousin, has taken from all of the citizens of Galavanti Island." The Sound of a B Flat: "Summer of 2006 commences in St. John, a town in Northwest Indiana, and Caleb Grzedek's band is starting to get known. Andrew, his older brother, starts his first tennis season in high school. He also spends time with his girlfriend and best friends, and Caleb finally comes up with the band's name with his best friends. And, coming from a big family, the Grzedek's are often visiting their relatives, and the five kids are always learning new things. Therefore, summer is off to a good start." See you around, peeps, B. Levi Greetings friends,
I have been back in a lovely place called Valparaiso since Sunday, and then I started my first job yesterday. I start my second job tomorrow, and I am so excited to begin! Even though this has been a great week so far, it has been outrageously busy. And it will stay busy until school starts again. And then when school starts again, that's a whole different story. I came back from a program that my college sponsors, and it was seriously one of the best experiences of my college career. I have made so many friends, and I learned how to play certain games, such as "Mafia," "Signs," and "Fantasy." Good games. You should learn how to play them. But, seriously, I have made a lot of meaningful connections. While I was in Williams Bay, Wisconsin, where the program took place, I continued to do a little bit of writing for the third novel of The Magic Video Game, but I didn't have a lot of time because I was so busy. I had a lot of inspirations from the entire week that will probably go into what I'm writing at the current moment. I had been doing a lot of thinking about one of the main characters, Levi Cranston, from The Magic Video Game. Here is a "profile" of him, so you can get a chance to know him a little beter. Er....better. * Full name: Levi Andrew Caleb Cranston * Date of birth: October 30, 1991 * Residence (As of 2014): Valparaiso, Indiana * Relationship status (As of 2014): In a relationship with Mackenzie Burbanks * Year of high school graduation (If applicable): 2010 * College degree received (If applicable): Bachelor's in Biomedical Engineering * Likes: Tennis, food, basketball, baseball, video games, spending time with friends and family, going on vacation, cats, bowling, soccer, Rhode Island, Mackenzie, cream soda, going to rock concerts with the dad and cousins, among other things * Dislikes: Loud and obnoxious people, classical music * Favorite music genre: Rock * Most favorite event(s) in life: Going to rock concerts with the dad. * Strangest event in life: Levi had to undergo an emergency tonsillectomy when he was in the eighth grade. Four days after the operation, he asked Mackenzie to be his girlfriend. He still believes that, had the tonsillectomy not happened, they might not be dating. Levi is also a "daredevil" and has accomplished so much, such as climbing up onto the roof of the house, "sledding" down the stairs, and rock-climbing. He hopes to go sky-diving in the near future. Here is Levi Cranston, in case you were wondering. On a somewhat unrelated note, The Jazzy Island of Dinosaurs and its sequel, The Sound of a B Flat, will be FREE on Amazon for Kindle THIS WEEKEND June 12th through June 14th, so please check them out and read the summaries below!
