Happy Saturday, everybody!
Hope everyone had a Happy Holidays this week, and hopefully you are all ready for the New Year to arrive. The year 2015 will be an amazing year. And so will The Revenge of the Naughty Blue Aliens. Last week, my first sci-fi compilation, The Crazy Chicken Escapade, was published onto Amazon. And, of course, I was not about to stop right there! As I said last week, I am working on Rockybado 3: The Revenge of the Naughty Blue Aliens. So far, I have seven chapters finished (excluding the longest chapter ever and the two quickies, I have four). And it has been my goal to finish one chapter or two every day. If it happens, awesome. If it doesn't happen, it's not the end of the world. What I might consider doing might be to work on the third and fourth novellas in one series consecutively. For example, I might work on Rockybado 3 and Rockybado 4, and then move on to The Jazzy Island of Dinosaurs or The Magic Video Game. The reason why I have considered this is because I go through phases with each series. Right now, I am in my Rockybado phase. This means that I am currently focused on a plethora of ideas for that specific series. It doesn't mean that I like the other two series any less. It just means that right now, I am only brainstorming ideas for Rockybado. As I have been working on The Revenge of the Naughty Blue Aliens, I have realized that I am greatly impressed with what I have worked on so far. Now, since this novella takes place in the present day, 2014, I am finding it easier to write the characters because they are all older (and, of course, so am I). David and Brody are especially fun to talk about because they are both right at my age. I am very excited to see where I see all three series going when their novellas take place in 2014. Also, this is not until a couple weeks now. But....while I'm talking about it, Rockybado and its sequel, A Run in the Game, will start out for 99 cents on January 9th, so please check them out in advance! Have a Happy New Year! B. Levi

Good afternoon, everybody.
And, for that matter, Happy Holidays! Of course, the title points out the obvious....The Crazy Chicken Escapade is now on Amazon (just in time for the Holiday Season) and is for Kindle only, but don't worry, my non-Kindle friends. I am still trying to figure out what site I am going to use to make hardcopy versions. There are some sites that are relatively easy to use, but they will only let me print black and white for the interior, and I was hoping for my pictures to be in color. But....it will happen soon enough. Since I am now done with The Crazy Chicken Escapade, I'm sure many are wondering what will happen next. Some already know....since I've said so on this blog. But, in case everyone would like to know, I am working on another part of the series of Rockybado, and the title is called The Revenge of the Naughty Blue Aliens. This is a take on what I used to write in sixth grade and then again sophomore year of college, but it is very different from what I have already published. Same style and similar concept (I guess), but, instead of the story taking place in 2006, The Revenge of the Naughty Blue Aliens takes place in 2014 in Crown Point, Indiana (the Ingram's did not move houses, except that Dawson and Brett now have their own apartment in Merrillville, about ten minutes away). Dawson is nearly 29 years old ; Brett is 24; David is soon to be 23; Brody is soon to be 22; and Toby is around the age of 18. Even though they have greatly matured throughout the years, they are (especially David, Brody, and Toby) still young at heart. As many know (or do not know, as the case may be), I am always thinking of ideas on what to write next, and I happen to have a ton of ideas for The Revenge of the Naughty Blue Aliens and the Ingram's and their friends. I have already started writing, and I am excited to see where I go with this. Oh, and by the way, the first picture in the slideshow is NOT of the Ingram's in 2006. It's probably of them in 2003 or 2004. Dawson graduated from high school in 2004, and he started growing his mustache in the middle of his junior year of high school. In 2006, David and Brody were about 5'7", and, in that picture, Dawson and Brett would be about a foot taller than them, and all of the boys are around the 5'11" mark when they are older. Fun fact of the day. After tonight, there is one more day that The Crazy Chicken Escapade will be free on Amazon, and that day is tomorrow. So, with that in mind, please check it out by reading the summary and clicking on the link below! The Crazy Chicken Escapade: "Three boys meet at a birthday party and realize that they have more in common than what they have previously thought. David Ingram, from Crown Point, Indiana, Andrew Grzedek, from St. John, Indiana, and Levi Cranston, from Valparaiso, Indiana, then play a magic video game at Levi's house. They all eventually meet Marty and his creature friends in Wakahakai, Dacston and his dinosaur comrades on Galavanti Island, and Rockybado, the King of Texamilio. Everyone finds out that the nearby chicken community has been taken advantage of, and they all set foot to free Radcliffe, the elected leader of the chicken community, as well as bring the overall group back to normal." B. Levi Happy Saturday, everyone!
A thousand apologies, but I have no idea what happened last Saturday when I posted the blog about Levi Cranston and his family. I thought that the post was complete, but it only showed a small section of the post. With this in mind, I am going to basically re-post what I had from last weekend. Oh well. Here we go again. Louise Jennifer Baranovsky is the oldest of all the kids. She is relatively happy-go-lucky, and her reddish brown hair and green eyes emphasize that. She is married to Brian Soriano, and they have two sons. Louise and Victoria have more in common, and Elizabeth and Olivia have more in common. Louise and her family live in Valparaiso, not too far away from where Levi and his family live. Louise and Elizabeth graduated from one high school, and Victoria, Olivia, Levi, and Evelyn Maeve graduate from another high school. Elizabeth Michelle Baranovsky is the second oldest of all the kids and the youngest of the two Baranovsky's. Unlike Louise, Elizabeth is more uptight. She styles her hair like Louise; only she has dark brown hair and blue eyes. Both girls look nearly identical. In the summer of 2006, Elizabeth gets married to Paul Weiner, and they live in Crown Point. Neither Louise or Elizabeth make significant appearances in any of the novels. Victoria Kelley Ann Cranston is the oldest of the Cranston's, but the fourth child of all the kids. She is an aspiring businesswoman, and Levi believes she has the perfect attitude for one. Victoria is genuinely nice, but she and Levi both have arrogant tendencies. Victoria is a know-it-all and an egomaniac, and everyone who knows her believes that. However, she is one who will go out of her way to help others if need be. Levi and Victoria have similar characteristics, so they often “butt heads.” Generally, though, they get along well. Olivia Chloe Monice Cranston wants to go into healthcare after she graduates from college. She is the only “blonde” of the family; not in that she is an airhead. She is not even a complete blonde. She is more of a dirty blonde, but she has the lightest hair color of everyone else in the family. Olivia and Levi have a better relationship than Victoria and Levi do because Olivia and Levi have a lot in common with their interests. Levi Andrew Caleb Cranston is the one whom a lot of people love; not just for his appearance, but also for his extremely high level of intelligence. He is also very headstrong; he will do whatever he sets his mind to, no questions asked. Even though Levi is arrogant, he also has a big heart, which is almost too big for his small body. He will often go out of his way to help other people, like his older sisters. Evelyn Maeve Cranston is the youngest, but she is not biologically related to the Cranston’s. She was actually adopted from Dublin, Ireland, when she was only a few months old. Her last name was Loden before she had it legally changed to Cranston. Levi was nine years old when he became a big brother. Regardless, he and Evelyn Maeve have always been very close. When Levi is home from college, he and Evelyn Maeve often play video games in the evening. Again, I have no idea what happened with the last post, but this should go through. Also, The Crazy Chicken Escapade should be published on Amazon by the end of next week, just in time for the holidays, so please check it out! Have a great weekend! B. Levi |
