Happy morning, or good morning (whichever the case may be),
Today is Sunday, the last day before we can just relax before going back to work or school the next day. I'm sitting at one of my favorite fast food joints, writing, drinking an ice coffee, thinking that life is okay, and also thinking that writing is okay. I think I used "writing" twice. Oh well. This weekend, I will talk to you about Mackenzie Burbanks, Levi Cranston's (The Magic Video Game) girlfriend. * Full name: Mackenzie Cori Burbanks * Date of birth: November 22, 1991 * Residence (As of 2014): Valparaiso, Indiana * Relationship status (As of 2014): In a relationship with Levi Cranston * Year of high school graduation (If applicable): 2010 * College degree received (If applicable): Computer Engineering * Likes: Family, friends, Levi, all animals, coffee, golf, running with Levi, margaritas, sangria, rock music, walking through downtown Valparaiso and Chicago with Levi, among other things * Dislikes: People who think they know everything, except for Levi, who knows everything (lol jk) * Favorite music genre: Rock, Latin * Most favorite event(s) in life: Dating Levi * Strangest event in life: There were some times when Levi had overslept on days when Mackenzie and Levi had made plans. Even though Levi has made this mistake quite a few times during their relationship, it has still been very strong. Here is Mackenzie for you! Have a great Sundae. I guess I'm going to keep on with these Sundae jokes. Well, enjoy a sundae today, unless you're lactose intolerant. Then, you can enjoy a nice slice of baklava! :-) See you next week some time, That person again Aloha,
Happy Wednesday. The most magical day of the week. Why? Because the middle of the week is over, and we all have the weekend to look forward to. I, of course, still have my busy schedule that I still like to keep busy. I just like being busy. I really do. Being busy is basically what keeps me going, and I would not have it any other way. In the meantime, I am working on The Jazzy Island of Dinosaurs 3: The Fiesta, but I am more than anxious to start working on The Magic Video Game 4. I have so many ideas coming out of my head, so I just can't wait to pull them out. And, while thinking about this series in particular, I am going to give you yet a few more fast facts on Levi Cranston (The Magic Video Game). Here we go! * In Summer 2011, Levi and Victoria had spent pretty much the whole summer trying to fight off a sinus infection. According to them, that was considered the absolute worst summer they have ever had. * Aside from having asthma, Levi also suffers from anxiety. However, it usually does not interfere with his daily activities. * Levi has weak ankles, so he has to wear an ankle brace on his left ankle (the weaker of the two) when playing tennis, running, and even sleeping. * Levi moves around a lot when he sleeps. However, he prefers sleeping on his stomach. * Victoria was about to get her tonsils taken out, but she had them spared when she was in pre-op, and she was sick again. After that bout of tonsillitis, she never had tonsillitis again. Needless to say, she still has her tonsils. Levi, however, does not have his tonsils. * Levi's anxiety flared up when his family moved from Crown Point to Valparaiso. He was very shy and he cried every day during school. The school nurse introduced Levi to Jack Andrews, and they have since been best friends. * Levi was very sick with a cold on his first middle school cross country meet. After he finished his meet, he got very nauseous and he threw up. * Levi tries to play tennis four days a week. * Levi and his family visit Rhode Island for two to three weeks each summer. Then, they stop by New York to see Niagara Falls. * Levi has climbed on top of the roof of his house numerous times, since he was eleven. Now you know more about Levi Cranston. Also, don't forget....The Jazzy Island of Dinosaurs, The Sound of a B Flat, and The Crazy Chicken Escapade will be FREE this FRIDAY and SATURDAY on AMAZON for KINDLE, so please check out the summaries below! The Jazzy Island of Dinosaurs: "It is June 2006 in St. John, a town in Northwest Indiana, and five siblings find out about the existence of dinosaurs through their neighbors who actually visited them. At a swimming party, the neighbors give the three younger siblings a book with a T-Rex's number on it. When all five kids visit Galavanti Island, they help Dacston, a T-Rex, Valpatic, a velociraptor, Jokie, a brachiosaurus, and Sammy, a stegosaurus, locate a case of saxophones that Selfish Arnie, Dacston's cousin, has taken from all of the citizens of Galavanti Island." The Sound of a B Flat: "Summer of 2006 commences in St. John, a town in Northwest Indiana, and Caleb Grzedek's band is starting to get known. Andrew, his older brother, starts his first tennis season in high school. He also spends time with his girlfriend and best friends, and Caleb finally comes up with the band's name with his best friends. And, coming from a big family, the Grzedek's are often visiting their relatives, and the five kids are always learning new things. Therefore, summer is off to a good start." The Crazy Chicken Escapade: "It is the summer of 2006, and three boys meet at a birthday party and realize that they have more in common than what they have previously thought. David Ingram, from Crown Point, Indiana, Andrew Grzedek, from St. John, Indiana, and Levi Cranston, from Valparaiso, Indiana, then play a magic video game at Levi's house. They all eventually meet Marty and his creature friends in Wakahakai, Dacston and his dinosaur comrades on Galavanti Island, and Rockybado, the King of Texamilio. Everyone finds out that the nearby chicken community has been taken advantage of, and they all set foot to free Radcliffe, the elected leader of the chicken community, as well as bring the overall group back to normal." Aloha Oe, That one person who is writing this blog Hello peeps,
Today is Sunday Funday. The last day before the weekend is over. The last day before the beginning of a new week. And I have to set my priorities straight for the rest of the summer. It will be hard to fit every single plan in my agenda, but it has to get done. After a great weekend with my friends in going to a great Irish pub and a great rock concert, I am excited to start a new week of fun, work, and games. I have had The Magic Video Game on my mind a lot. I think I'm in a new phase actually. A few months ago, I could think of nothing more than Rockybado. But now, I would like to move on for at least a little while and write some more stories in this series, even though I am currently working on The Jazzy Island of Dinosaurs at the moment. My goal is to get the third book from that series done by the end of this month. We'll see. At the moment, I am not working on that novel. I am, however, blogging, and I am about to tell you about Levi Cranston's (The Magic Video Game) second oldest half sister, Elizabeth Baranovsky, so here we go! * Full name: Elizabeth Michelle Baranovsky * Date of birth: June 6th, 1981 * Residence (As of 2014): Crown Point, Indiana * Relationship status (As of 2014): Married to Paul Weiner * Year of high school graduation (If applicable): 2000 * College degree received (If applicable): Nursing * Likes: A lot of things, including family, friends, mojitos, and bowling * Dislikes: People who talk too much, rowdy kids * Favorite music genre: Rock, Latin, R & B * Most favorite event(s) in life: Elizabeth's 21st birthday * Strangest event in life: Elizabeth and Louise, the older half-sister, went to Las Vegas back in 2004, and Elizabeth won a grand total of $1.30 at a casino. This is Elizabeth for you guys! Aaaaand don't forget....The Jazzy Island of Dinosaurs, The Sound of a B Flat, and The Crazy Chicken Escapade will be FREE this FRIDAY and SATURDAY on AMAZON for KINDLE, so please check out the summaries below! Have a great rest of your Sundae! B. Levi Hola peeps,
Happy Wednesday! This week has been busy, just like other weeks. Work has been amazing thus far, and I have enjoyed every day that I have been there. Something new every day, which is what I treasure. Also, last night was good for me because my siblings and I went to the mall in Merrillville, and then I spent two hours into the night reading over Rockybado 3: The Invasion of the Naughty Blue Aliens and The Magic Video Game 3: Mystery of the Island. During that time, I also finished another chapter of The Jazzy Island of Dinosaurs 3: The Fiesta. Please note that ALL titles are subject to change when I'm about to publish them, which will hopefully be by the end of August, also known as that time when I return to college for my ultimate semester of my undergrad career. Today, I will give you TEN fast facts about Levi Cranston and his family and friends (from The Magic Video Game), so....here we go! 1.) Levi Cranston (The Magic Video Game) is somehow indirectly related to Andrew McCalsky (Rockybado). Levi's mom is Andrew's mom's second cousin. This is not revealed until the second sci-fi compilation novel. 2.) Victoria, Levi's oldest full-blood sister, is also into running. She and Levi sometimes run through downtown Valparaiso together. 3.) Even though Levi is studying biomedical engineering in college, he actually starts gaining more interest in the communications field once he picks up that minor during his sophomore year of college. 4.) Olivia, the second oldest of the three full-blood siblings, is flat-footed. 5.) There was one tennis match in high school when it was so hot outside, like 90 degrees or so, and that was Levi's LEAST favorite tennis match. He was extremely sweaty and uncomfortable during most of the tennis match. Three hours later, when he won the match, he took a shower and fell asleep at 6 o'clock in the evening and woke up at 11 o'clock the next morning. 6.) Levi does not have his tonsils or his adenoids. He had both taken out on the same day. 7.) Victoria almost had her tonsils removed at the age of 15. 8.) Evelyn Maeve shares similar interests with Levi. Basically, she has always viewed Levi as her big brother and role model. 9.) Levi is good friends with John Garfield (Rockybado). They have known each other, even before John moved to Valparaiso in the first novel of the Rockybado series, since they were both in a soccer club together. 10.) John Garfield is a cousin of Mackenzie Burbanks, Levi Cranston's girlfriend. 11.) The two older half sisters, Louise and Elizabeth Baranovsky, graduated from a different high school from Victoria, Olivia, Levi, and Evelyn Maeve (hasn't graduated yet). That's eleven, but that's okay. At least they're interesting! Off to reread some more of Rockybado 3: The Invasion of the Naughty Blue Aliens and The Magic Video Game 3: Mystery of the Island. And possibly write another chapter of The Jazzy Island of Dinosaurs 3: The Fiesta at that. This weekend, I will talk about another character. However, that will be revealed on the day that I post another blog. Until this weekend, B. Levi Hello and Good Morning, Good People!
I am now going back to giving you guys a character sketch from The Magic Video Game, since I was on a week-long hiatus from doing so. These past three weekends have been extremely busy, as we have had to go up north to take my sister from one camp to another, and we went back to Wisconsin last week. Then, we had a great time on the Fourth! And today, we are going back up to Wisconsin, and my sister is coming home with us! And, without further ado, before I leave for the Wisconsins, I am going to talk to you about Levi Cranston's (The Magic Video Game) oldest half sister, Louise. * Full name: Louise Jennifer Baranovsky * Date of birth: September 25, 1980 * Residence (As of 2014): Valparaiso, Indiana * Relationship status (As of 2014): Married to Brian Soriano * Year of high school graduation (If applicable): 1999 * College degree received (If applicable): Marketing and Spanish (double major) * Likes: Family, friends, sangria, horchata, Spain, comedy movies, playing with the kids, cats * Dislikes: Artichokes, onions, strawberry daiquiris * Favorite music genre: Rock, Latin * Most favorite event(s) in life: The most beautiful day when Louise joined Brian Soriano in marriage, and every day because Louise gets to spend as much quality time as possible with her kids. * Strangest event in life: Giving birth to David Lemster during a vacation in Rhode Island Don't forget....Rockybado, A Run in the Game, and The Crazy Chicken Escapade will be FREE this SATURDAY on AMAZON for KINDLE, so please check out the summaries below! Rockybado: "It is June 2006, and, after school lets out for the summer in Crown Point, Indiana, five boys find out about a robot in Texamilio, a fictitious island due west of the eight Hawaii Islands. When they meet Rockybado and his two close Bobino comrades, they are all confronted by Susan and Claude McSmith, who are both out to steal Rockybado's position as King of Texamilio, after a sour debate regarding physics in high school." A Run in the Game: "It is the summer of 2006 in Crown Point, Indiana, and Brody Ingram and Andrew McCalsky make it on the Watsons baseball team, and the team must try hard to defeat the Pratts team, their opponent, from Hebron, Indiana, that plays rough. In the meantime, Brody's older brother, Brett, must come out of his shell in order to communicate effectively with his love interest, as does David. Dawson, the oldest, and Toby, the youngest, also try to figure out who they are and who they want to be. Everyone is faced with different challenges throughout the summer." The Crazy Chicken Escapade: "It is the summer of 2006, and three boys meet at a birthday party and realize that they have more in common than what they have previously thought. David Ingram, from Crown Point, Indiana, Andrew Grzedek, from St. John, Indiana, and Levi Cranston, from Valparaiso, Indiana, then play a magic video game at Levi's house. Have a fun weekend! Me (Who else would this be?) Hey guys,
Sorry I haven't been posting lately. This past weekend and some of this week have been extremely tiring, so I completely forgot to post a blog yesterday, marking my two year anniversary of having books 1 of the Rockybado, The Jazzy Island of Dinosaurs, and The Magic Video Game series. However, I did celebrate. I went over to a pizza place in town and got the world's best garlic knots ever! Needless to say, they were very good. I also celebrated by sitting at an ice cream parlor (again, in town) working on yet another chapter of book 3 of The Jazzy Island of Dinosaurs. As of now, I have completed books 3 and 4 of the Rockybado series and book 3 of The Magic Video Game series. I have been tempted to work on book 4 of the latter series, but I am going to hold off until I finish book 3 of The Jazzy Island of Dinosaurs. My main goals for this summer are to increase awareness of the books that are already published, and also to get books 3 from each series out in the open. I am 15 chapters away from completing book 3 of The Jazzy Island of Dinosaurs, and all I can do is believe in myself and keep on living the dream. Oh, and by the way, Rockybado, A Run in the Game, and The Crazy Chicken Escapade will be FREE this FRIDAY and SATURDAY on AMAZON for KINDLE, so please check out the summaries below! Rockybado: "It is June 2006, and, after school lets out for the summer in Crown Point, Indiana, five boys find out about a robot in Texamilio, a fictitious island due west of the eight Hawaii Islands. See you this weekend! B. Levi Hello folks, It's that time of year when we all come together, eat some good food, and blast some 'works. I am currently on my way to Wisconsin to see my sister perform at an orchestra camp that she is participating in, and I believe my family and I are going to Valpo tomorrow to watch some fireworks while eating fried chicken. A tradition that my family has had since I can remember, we have not done this in four days, as it would be nice to go back to this tradition. After watching some tutorials on self publishing, I have realized that I need to make some huge changes to my novels that are already published. This does not mean that I will unpublish them, but rather make them better. My book covers for the first three novels definitely need work. Also, I am definitely going to change the name from "Rockybado" to something else. I am thinking "Rockybado: The King of the Island," but I'd love for you to comment below and give me some ideas. Rockybado is a robot who is King of Texamilio, a supposedly fictitious island near Hawaii so there is some background for you. Also, if you know my novels, I invite you to comment below and tell me what is good and what needs to be improved. I'm logging off for now so that I can work on some current projects. Don't worry. I'm not driving. Have a great weekend! Me |
