It is Sundae Fundae. I guess it is everyone's favorite day.
I am sitting here, drinking a pina colada sparkling water (wanted to try it out, no joke). And I am at the computer typing this blog. What else could I be doing at this hour? I will most likely encounter the most beautiful slice of pepperoni pizza in a couple of hours. Who knows. Yesterday, I had the privilege of walking at my commencement ceremony with a bunch of my friends, and I believe that we have all been excellent enough to graduate. Because, in my humblest of opinions, everyone is excellent at something (whether they have graduated or not), I wanted to tell you how excellent people are at different things, including those that I have been writing about. So....here we go! 1. Brody Ingram (Rockybado) is an excellent dancer and he does everything improv. 2. David Ingram (Rockybado) is an excellent guitarist and singer. 3. Caleb Grzedek (The Jazzy Island of Dinosaurs) is an excellent musician overall. 4. Andrew Grzedek (The Jazzy Island of Dinosaurs) is an excellent pianist. 5. Jack Andrews (The Magic Video Game) is an excellent crocheter. He just does not like to admit it in public. He has crocheted some of his own beanies. 6. Levi Cranston (The Magic Video Game) is an excellent cartoonist. 7. Bradley Levi and all of her good friends (The Mystery of the Missing Pina Colada) are excellent bowlers. 8. Rockybado (Rockybado) is an excellent ruler of the island of Texamilio. 9. Dacston and all of his dinosaur friends (The Jazzy Island of Dinosaurs) are excellent saxophonists. 10. Marty and all of his comrades (The Magic Video Game) are excellent basket weavers. Good news for all of you! Rockybado 4: Running Up a Hill, The Jazzy Island of Dinosaurs 4: The Life of a Typical Foodie, The Magic Video Game 4: The Upbringing of a New Comedian, and The Crazy Chicken Escapade will be FREE on Amazon for Kindle on Saturday June 4th (TOMORROW), so please check them out by reading the summaries below! Rockybado 4: Running Up a Hill: "Summer of 2014 commences in Crown Point, Indiana. David Ingram just recently graduates from college and now has a full-time job. Brody, his younger brother, has an internship for his computer engineering major. Brett, the second oldest of the five boys, is trying to figure out what he wants to do with his bands, and Toby, the youngest, wants to join a band someday. And their oldest brother, Dawson, is about to get married. Overall, their summer starts out very bittersweet." The Jazzy Island of Dinosaurs 4: The Life of a Typical Foodie: "It is the summer of 2014 in St. John, Indiana, a small town in Northwest Indiana about 45 minutes away from Chicago. There is a lot going on this summer, yet nothing at the same time. Andrew Grzedek just recently graduates from college and moves in with his two cousins and mutual friend. Caleb, his younger brother of two years, is still trying to keep his band going strong. Everyone in their family is constantly making food. His sister, Alyssa, reunites with her good friend who moved back here from California. And no one else has much direction on what their plans will be for the summer." The Magic Video Game 4: The Upbringing of a New Comedian: "Summer of 2014 is here in Valparaiso, Indiana. Levi Cranston is making the transition from college life to home life for the summer, and he might consider becoming a comedian like his dad. He and his friends are typical college students who want to make the most out of their summer by practicing tennis, hitting up all the bars and fast food joints in the area, and just making the most out of life in general." The Crazy Chicken Escapade: "It is the summer of 2006, and three boys meet at a birthday party and realize that they have more in common than what they have previously thought. David Ingram, from Crown Point, Indiana, Andrew Grzedek, from St. John, Indiana, and Levi Cranston, from Valparaiso, Indiana, then play a magic video game at Levi's house. They all eventually meet Marty and his creature friends in Wakahakai, Dacston and his dinosaur comrades on Galavanti Island, and Rockybado, the King of Texamilio. Everyone finds out that the nearby chicken community has been taken advantage of, and they all set foot to free Radcliffe, the elected leader of the chicken community, as well as bring the overall group back to normal." See you tomorrow! You Know Who Ate a soft pretzel
In downtown Valparaiso, Which is my hometown. It was very good. I go there, like, all the time. Soft pretzels are good. Sold two shirts today. Two dollars and sixty cents Was all that I got. I'm not complaining. College shirts I didn't want. Someone can have them. Donated more shirts. Someone else can have them, too. Should clean my closet. Got too many clothes That I won't wear anymore. Someone can have them. Want to write again. It will happen very soon. I am sure of it. I want chicken wings With garlic parmesan sauce. Potato wedges. And some fried pickles. And a drink that's very good. I am not picky. It is really hot. Well, I really want to write. It will happen soon. Hello, friends and friends of friends (virtually everyone in the whole world),
Today is a very sunny day. I actually just came back from a hike with my family, and I am TIRED. The soft drink that I have with me, I swear, is probably the only thing keeping me awake, as well as the motivation to study for an upcoming exam on Monday. First of all, I would like to apologize for a lack of good blog posts. I know that the Haiku Mondays are still a hit, and in the middle of the week, I make a reminder to all of you to check out my free promotions. However, I feel like my weekend blog posts have been lacking. This has been a TOUGH five months being back home after graduation. This should all end soon enough, probably within the week. And, not to mention, graduation is coming up. I have already graduated, but I am participating in the graduation ceremony with my friends. I have a cap and gown, as well as numerous cords, stoles, and medallions, to prove it all. Pictures will come at a different date. I know that I have been extremely busy trying to get my life back together with starting on a new project with my writing, but my blog posts have not been entirely focused on my writing. And that will come again, quite soon, actually. I know that many people want to be happy but can't find it in themselves to be so. It can be so easy to fall into this trap and become negative. And, even though this is easier said than done, it can be done. You just have to believe in yourself. I will give you fifteen tips on how to stay positive all the time. 1. Listening to happy music counts. Even if it's a lame kids' song, put it on and listen to it. 2. Don't say you can't do something, but rather that you can do something. Big difference. 3. Go on a walk. That also helps. 4. Go on a walk around your favorite place. 5. Go on a walk around your favorite place in the evening. 6. Hang out with your friends, family, whoever. I've found that company hates misery. You probably will, too. 7. If you're studying for an exam, don't study all day long. Study for an hour. Take a break for two hours. Study for an hour. Take a break for another two hours. Cramming is not fun, and it makes you even more stressed out. At least, from my past experiences. 8. If you're writing a 20-page English paper for school, repeat #7. 9. If you fail anything the first time, don't get discouraged. Try again. You're only wasting your time and everyone else's if you're negative. 10. Do a dance-off competition. You don't have to be a professional dancer to accomplish this feat, but it is pretty fun nonetheless. 11. Talk to someone. This may be similar to #6, but it's not. If you're hanging out with someone, you are just physically with them. If you're talking to someone, you could be physically with them, but you could also text or call them. 12. Talk to your cat. 13. If you're allergic to cats, talk to your dog, chinchilla, parakeet, frog, or even goldfish. 14. Eat a taco. They are good for you. 15. Get fries at 1 am. This is very fun, and I highly recommend that all of you do this some time in your life. The end. Actually, no. I have other great news. See you tomorrow! You Know Who It's Haiku Monday.
It is not Haiku Tuesday. Or Haiku Wednesday. Or Haiku Thursday. Not at all Haiku Friday. Haiku Saturday. Or Haiku Sunday. It's simply Haiku Monday. And that is a fact. That's boring bogus. We all know Haiku Monday, Or Haiku Tuesday. Chicken fajita. That sounds really good right now. Very late at night. Chicken fajita. Eat that on Haiku Monday. You will feel better. Or steak fajita. I don't know which one's better. I'll get both of them. Happy Sundae, everyone!
Wow. It's been a quite a week. And it's definitely been quite a weekend. Today was a good day because my friends and I were able to get free samples of all flavored strips of bacon at our local bacon store. It was the best day of our lives because we could have as much bacon as we wanted, for a very low cost....nothing. That's right. It was all free. Maple bacon. Jalapeno bacon. Cheese bacon. Apple bacon. Salami bacon. Alfredo bacon. Bacon this. Bacon that. Bacon here. Bacon there. Bacon everywhere. Well....actually that did not happen. Sorry, guys, for spoiling everything for you. :*( I am writing this evening because I want to tell you a little about how my next story is going. So, I will give you ten fast facts about what I've done so far, and what I plan to do in the near future, so here we go! 1. The story itself is called The Somewhat Perilous Plot of the Patriotic Mosquitoes. 2. The patriotic mosquitoes all wear fedoras. 3. I am included in this story, as well as my best friends. 4. Rockybado, Robot King of Texamilio, is also included in this story. 5. Dacston, a T-Rex who plays the saxophone very well, is included in this story also. 6. Marty, a polar bear, and his comrades are included in this story as well. 7. The boys are in this story. 8. Bacon is included in this story. 9. The Somewhat Perilous Plot of the Patriotic Mosquitoes is part of the Amazing Sci-Fi Compilation. 10. Harry is the name of the leader of the patriotic mosquitoes, and their plan is to make a river out of grape soda (vague idea). 11. Taco. Here are the ten facts about my new project. Now, I will send you all a great haiku some time tomorrow. See you then! You Know Who Hey friends!
