One year ago, Jeremy Kerplunk and Johnny Dinglebom, two very goofy Bobinos, decided to go to the nearest fast food joint because they were both very hungry.
At the drive-thru…. “Thank you for choosing this store. How may I help you today?” a voice said through the machine. “I would like a hamburger, with no ham,” Jeremy said. “A hamburger does not have ham on it.” “Ham-burger. There has to be ham on it.” “It is called a hamburger because it is called a hamburger.” “I would like two hamburger meals, if you insist that there’s no ham on the hamburgers.” “I’m sure there is no ham on the hamburgers.”

A hot fudge sundae.
Sitting on kitchen table. Not been consumed yet. Adding some sprinkles. It's very conventional. Most people use them. Sundae with sprinkles. That is like the only thing. On kitchen table. Cat jumps on table. Steaming curiosity. Sundae's not for cat. Cat is very sad. The cat can't eat the sundae. Sundae's for human. Human eats sundae. Cat eats meat loaf on table. Where did it come from? Meat loaf has no legs. It could not have walked up here. Well, it likely did. Cat liked the meat loaf. And human liked that sundae. Well, Happy Monday. Hey everyone!

Then, Jeremy saw something random that he wanted to show Johnny.
“I saw a squirrel,” Jeremy said to his best friend. “You saw a squirrel?” Johnny asked. “Yeah. I saw a squirrel.” “Well, show me then!” Jeremy and Johnny walked to an old oak tree so that Johnny could see the squirrel. But the squirrel was now gone. “Well, never mind,” Jeremy said. “CHARGE!” a squirrel suddenly shouted to his squirrel comrades while they popped out of the tree with acorns in their arms. Their revenge was nigh. Time to run. I want shrimp scampi.

It was August 2012, and Levi Cranston was, of course, sleeping very soundly on his stomach. Olivia, his sister, had walked into the room because it was 10:30 in the morning, and he needed to wake up. Victoria, his other sister, came upstairs with her because she had a possible prank up her sleeve. But then, she thought it would be completely futile to do a prank on Levi because he would probably sleep right through it. Instead, the two girls just watched him sleep. "Isn't Levi cute when he's sleeping?" Olivia asked her older sister of two years. "Levi is cute when he's sleeping, but he's also kinda gross," Victoria replied. "How so?" "Well, he sometimes drools, and he also sometimes has nosebleeds. Oh, and he often sneezes when he just wakes up." "I think that's actually kinda cute," Olivia remarked with a shrug. "Okay," Victoria answered with her hands up in the air as if surrendering. "I really like it when he sleeps on his stomach." "I'll give you that. He's pretty cute when sleeping on his stomach." "You talking about me?" Levi asked his two older sisters, half-awake. "Morning, Levi!" Olivia exclaimed. From Rockybado 3: The Invasion of the Naughty Blue Aliens
It was August 2012, and Brody Ingram was drawing cartoons at the dining room table. He wanted to do absolutely nothing else. It was a little hot outside, so he didn’t want to practice tennis. And, for that matter, David didn’t want to practice tennis either. David, his brother, had just finished playing video games and got a little bored after a while of playing, so he saw Brody drawing a picture of what looked like a cat. He just wanted to find out for himself what the drawing was of. The two boys were the only ones at home, so there was not a lot to do right now but possibly draw cartoons. "Who is Petey Anderson?" David asked when he saw Brody drawing cartoons. "He's someone I made up," Brody replied. "What does he like?" "Hot sauce, penne pasta, and Chinese food." "And I see that he tripped on a banana peel," David remarked. "Yes, he did," Brody answered. "Petey looks very familiar, too." "Oh, he does?" "Is he a cat?" "No. He's a dog." 'Tis Haiku Tuesday.
Now I want a pineapple. And some chicken, too. Pineapple bowls, though. Add rice, chicken, and some fun. Back to Hawaii. Writing this haiku, Really making me hungry. I want pineapple. Fruit flavored water. Something I've really wanted. Not too long ago. Off to Hawaii. To enjoy the gorgeous waves. Until next time, guys. From The Somewhat Perilous Plot of the Patriotic Mosquitoes
Andrew Grzedek drove from his house in Valparaiso to his family's house in St. John in the afternoon. The thirty-five minute drive from Point A to Point B did not prove to be that big of an issue. Andrew's brother, Caleb, and his band were performing for his friend's engagement party that was happening later today. Andrew brought all of his flat mates, Chris Pelt, and Matthew and Harrison McCarthy to the get-together. That way, the drive to St. John would not get too lonely. It was 1:30 in the afternoon, and the party was going to start at around 6:30. They would get there at around 2:15, which would be more than enough time to help set up for the event. They probably would not even need to set up until around four o'clock. And maybe even later than that. All they knew was that tonight was going to be fun. "Who's getting married?" Chris asked, very curious. "Caleb's friend, Kathryn Ashley," Andrew asked. "Do I know her?" "She and her brother, Mark, were in Caleb's band for a few years." "That's probably where I know her," Chris said. "Yeah. She used to play keyboard, and Mark played drums," Andrew remarked. "Okay. I remember Mark." "He's really tall and quiet." "I remember him. He's adopted, right?" "You are correct." Meanwhile, Caleb and their twin brothers, Adam and Cameron were coming home from band practice. They were going to play some music for Kathryn's engagement party. Their friends, Tad Beruve and Alessandra Marbanks, were going over to the Grzedek's house on Muirfield Lane in St. John, a town in Northwest Indiana. However, they were coming over a little later. Alessandra Marbanks is actually Caleb's girlfriend. They have been very good friends for a long time and have just recently started dating. Caleb, Adam, and Cameron were conversing a little when they were coming home. However, their conversation stopped abruptly when they noticed a very familiar car. They knew who this was, and they could not back out of any conversation that they would most likely have with the owner of this car. And it would most likely be an absurd one at best. “Ya got beanies?” Ryan Phillips asked. “No, not today,” Caleb replied. “Dang it, man. Ya know beanies are amazing.” “I prefer baseball caps myself.” “I don’t like baseball caps. I like beanies,” Ryan remarked. “I have friends who like beanies,” Caleb stated. “That’s great. I have a great purple beanie that’s pretty great.” “That’s good to know.” “My friend gave that one to me for my birthday. It’s pretty great.” “Sounds like a cool beanie.” So what do the three boys do now? Do they keep the conversation going? Or do they try to walk home without any annoyances? Ryan Phillips was just trying to make some great conversation. The problem was, the conversation was not all that great. As a matter of fact, it was more awkward than anything. And it has been recurring. For a little under ten years. As long as Ryan has had his driver's license and his own car, he has had nearly the exact same conversation with the same people about the exact same subject. Now that was a bit awkward and somewhat annoying. "My girlfriend's cousin has a collection of beanies," Caleb remarked. "Really?" Ryan responded, quite surprised. "Yes, he does." "What's his name?" "Jack," Caleb replied. "Jack...." Ryan tried to get his last name. "Somehow I can't remember his last name." "Oh. No need for that." "Oh, okay." "I was just curious." |
