It was August 2012, and Brody was drawing cartoons at the dining room table. He wanted to do absolutely nothing else. It was a little hot outside, so he didn’t want to practice tennis. And, for that matter, David didn’t want to practice tennis either.
David had just finished playing video games and got a little bored after a while of playing, so he saw Brody drawing a picture of what looked like a cat. He just wanted to find out for himself what the drawing was of.
The two boys were the only ones at home, so there was not a lot to do right now but possibly draw cartoons.
"Who is Petey Anderson?" David asked when he saw Brody drawing cartoons.
"He's someone I made up," Brody replied.
"What does he like?"
"Hot sauce, penne pasta, and Chinese food."
"And I see that he tripped on a banana peel," David remarked.
"Yes, he did," Brody answered.
"Petey looks very familiar, too."
"Oh, he does?"
"Is he a cat?"
"No. He's a dog."
