Hello! Good Morning! Happy Day After Valentine's Day, Singles Awareness Day, and/or Heart-Shaped Pizza Day!
Yesterday, being Valentine's Day, made it next to impossible to blog, so I am going to explain the other characters from The Magic Video Game this weekend. Last week, I talked about Marty the polar bear, Sporto the walrus, Cosmo the penguin, Jack McFrost the snowman, and Jefferson the Eskimo pig. And, of course, you know a lot about Levi Cranston, his family, and his friends (from the same series). Well, here we go with the rest of the main characters from The Magic Video Game. Wachnuka Kaloi is a very close friend of Marty and his posse. Even though he does not live with them, he visits them on a frequent basis. Kaloi often goes by his last name, and he is a forensic scientist. Marty shows a lot of interest in Kaloi's forensics equipment, as does everyone else in the posse. Kaloi is characterized by having a fuchsia afro and soul patch. He is also often seen wearing a lavender suit and a hot pink tie. When he is not looking for evidence from any given situation, he likes to lie on his hammock and ready mystery novels. He graduated from the University of Wakahakai with a major in Forensic Science and a minor in Basket Weaving. Darveda Davucci Illiona is the main enemy of Marty and his posse. She wants part of Winderplassic Estate, which was rightfully given to Marty as a token of gratitude. Darveda is a short heavy-set woman who has blonde hair. She is often seen wearing a turtleneck and a long jumper. Darveda's most disgusting habit is picking mud from her shoe and throwing mud at her chosen victims. When the victims get mud thrown at them, they become "ugly" until they wash off the mud. Darveda was once arrested for jaywalking, but she was released the next day. She started college at the University of Wakahakai but dropped out because she found a great job in crocheting mukluks before she could finish college. Nelson is one of Darveda's henchmen. Even though they are not biologically related, they are often confused for siblings for whatever reason. Nelson has a brown afro and a large nose. He is tall, making Darveda look tiny with his stature. He, like Darveda, is also after a portion of Winderplassic Estate. However, Nelson does not have the "nasty" habit of picking mud out of his shoe. Instead, he is the one who cracks all the weird jokes and tries to get Darveda to laugh, since she is often seen as intense. Nelson graduated from the University of Wakahakai with a degree in Stand-Up Comedy. Hilda is a henchwoman of Darveda's. She has the same motive as Darveda and Nelson. However, she is considered the quiet one who wants to learn how to speak Italian. Hilda looks more Mediterranean, as she has black hair and darker skin. Her favorite color is purple, which she is seen wearing all the time. At the end of The Crazy Chicken Escapade, Darveda flees the scene and goes to another country. She loves to explore the world, but her favorite country is Greece. She graduated from the University of Wakahakai with a degree in Multi-Languages, with specific concentrations in Italian, Greek, Latin, and Serbian. Barangio "Bug" Dingaling is another henchman of Darveda's. However, he does not appear until The Crazy Chicken Escapade. He is short and pudgy, and he also has wavy black hair. It is apparent in the end of The Crazy Chicken Escapade that Bug and Hilda end up dating when they leave for another country. Bug got his nickname because he liked to say "bug" in a very goofy voice when he was younger, and he has gone with that nickname ever since. Bug did not go to college. Instead, he got a decent job at an ad agency, where he draws crazy cartoons for advertisements around Wakahakai, and he didn't think that he needed a degree to have this job. Shirley S. Sherlock is a minor character in The Magic Video Game series. She does not play a role in the story; she is just someone who Olivia and Levi encounter in the first novel. Shirley has short brown hair with big thick-frame glasses. In The Crazy Chicken Escapade, it is revealed that Shirley S. Sherlock is not her real name. You will find out when you read that book! Radcliffe is the leader of the chicken community in Wakahakai. He does not make an appearance until The Crazy Chicken Escapade. He is held hostage in that novel by Darveda, Nelson, Hilda, and Bug. Marty and his friends need to find some ways to get Radcliffe out of that sticky situation. Also, Radcliffe makes another appearance in the later novels of The Magic Video Game series. Voila! Here are the rest of the main characters from The Magic Video Game series. Starting next week, I will not post regular blogs. I will still keep the blogs weekly; however, I will write a little bit about each character and attach an "interview" with those characters for you to read. I had started writing them, and I didn't just want to keep them to myself! Right? Also, next Friday and Saturday, my first sci-fi compilation, The Crazy Chicken Escapade will be #FREE on Amazon, so please check out the summary below! The Crazy Chicken Escapade: "Three boys meet at a birthday party and realize that they have more in common than what they have previously thought. David Ingram, from Crown Point, Indiana, Andrew Grzedek, from St. John, Indiana, and Levi Cranston, from Valparaiso, Indiana, then play a magic video game at Levi's house. They all eventually meet Marty and his creature friends in Wakahakai, Dacston and his dinosaur comrades on Galavanti Island, and Rockybado, the King of Texamilio. Everyone finds out that the nearby chicken community has been taken advantage of, and they all set foot to free Radcliffe, the elected leader of the chicken community, as well as bring the overall group back to normal." Have a great Sundae! B. Levi
