From The Somewhat Perilous Plot of the Patriotic Mosquitoes
Jack Andrews was wearing his college t-shirt today, along with his plaid shorts and a beanie. He has always enjoyed adding on to his beanie collection. While Jack was watching the tennis match on TV, Claire scrolled through her social media and saw a familiar name that she has heard before. That one kid that always seems to benefit from getting a rise out of Jack and his best friend, Levi Cranston. She still wasn't quite sure who he is exactly, or how Jack and Levi even know him. But this was a curious question that would like to be answered. "So who exactly is this Adam Dahnwright kid?" Claire asked. "Adam Danhwright is a dodo head," Jack replied. "Oh okay." "Yeah he likes to think he's funny but he can be a bit offensive." "How so?" Claire asked. "Potty humor is his thing, and he likes to pick on Levi. Or he really did, way back when," Jack replied. "He sounds stupid." "He really is. He also likes 'yo mama' jokes to play on all of us." "Oh geez!" "Darn straight." Okay, so Adam really is a goon. At least according to Jack and Levi. But Randy Lindt, or the Fat Pigeon, thinks otherwise of him. The two goons have been best friends since they were little. Say like two or three. And Jack and Levi have been really good friends since fourth grade when Levi and his family just moved from Crown Point, just thirty minutes away from Valpo. Jack and Claire were now bored, so they decided to take a walk by the pavilion. Well, first of all, they walked down to a nearby coffee shop. Jack ordered an ice coffee with maple syrup, and Claire ordered an ice coffee with hazelnut syrup. Once they were by the pavilion, they could see a lot of cool things there, such as the city of Wakahakai. They were currently on the outskirts of the city, but they were within walking distance at the same time. The two kids were talking about bacon for a little while, and then Jack might have seen a random kid just pass the pavilion, where they were headed. At first, he wasn't quite sure who the kid might have been. But then he noticed that this kid has blonde hair, and he might have also been wearing a beanie. He thought he might have seen another kid with him. "Did you see a blonde haired kid just walk past that pavilion over there? He's also with another dodo head named Randy. But we all like to call him the Fat Pigeon," Jack said as he pointed in the direction of the pavilion. "No," Claire replied. She honestly did not see him. "Okay, yeah that was him." "No one has encountered them yet, have they?" "Not to my knowledge," Jack replied. He took a sip of his maple syrup flavored ice coffee. "How's your coffee?" Claire asked. "I love it. Maple syrup is my jam." "There's a good place in Geneva that has gelato and chocolate." "Oh really? I have some family out that direction. And my best friend's roommate's family just moved out there." "Levi's roommate?" "Yes. He's originally from Naperville." This ice coffee was inarguably one of the best ice coffee recipes around the area. At least Claire and Jack thought so. Now they were both thinking of gelato. Wakahakai has to have at least one or two places that serve gelato straight from the heart. Gelato is an Italian form of ice cream, and it is technically the dessert of the gods. Or, really, to a lot of people. Gelato is really the key to a person's heart.
