Sheridan Maggliardi was a freshman in high school, and he woke up one morning with a very sore throat. He thought he had a cold coming on, so he treated it as such. He thought he had the right over the counter meds for cold symptoms during the day, but he was so out of it that he didn’t realize that the meds he was taking was for symptoms at night. Everything was fine until he sat in science class, and he somehow fell asleep. His classmate nudged him, and he decided to go to the nurse’s office and try to go home. The nurse gave Sheridan the okay to go home for the rest of the day. When he came home, he immediately fell asleep in his room. It was 9:30 am when he came home, and it was around 4:15 pm when he woke up to his 8-year-old brother, Kevin, snuggled up next to him. Sheridan closed his eyes again and slept for the rest of the day. Their two other siblings, 12-year-old Graham and 10-year-old Addison, were likely playing video games downstairs. Kevin could hear them shouting from Sheridan’s room, but he wanted to keep him company.
